Mikey Bell was named the WCC player of the Week on Monday after leading the Zags to five wins in the past week.
Bell batted .640 last week, going 16-for-25. He had five hits in two separate games, tying the program single-game record for hits both times. He posted six extra base hits, hitting five doubles and a home run. Bell totaled nine RBI and eight runs scored, and added in a stolen base. He had a 1.614 OPS on the week across the five wins. He is now the third Zag to win WCC Player of the Week this year. This is the seventh weekly WCC award picked up by a GU player this year.Â
