WROW: 19 Zags Named CRCA Scholar Athletes

The 19 rowers are the highest mark in program history

Nineteen Gonzaga women rowers have been named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) scholar athletes.

The 19 student-athletes ranks first all-time in program history, breaking the previous record of 17 rowers in 2024. This also marks the 19th time Gonzaga has had rowers named CRCA scholar athletes since 2003.

To qualify, an athlete must meet academic and athletic requirements, such as being in at least their 2nd year of eligibility and maintaining an average cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Additionally, student-athletes must have rowed in their institution's NCAA or IRA (lightweight) eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or race in an NCAA Boat at their Conference Championship/NCAA Championship.
