2023: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention… Appeared in 34 games with 24 starts… Had a .264 batting average with a .678 on base plus slugging percentage and four multi-hit games on the season… He recorded a three-hit game on May 12 against Oklahoma… Had a perfect fielding percentage on the season… Went 2-for-2 on stolen bases.

2022: Picked up a hit and a run in his first game in a Zag uniform vs Oregon State on 2/19 … After missing nearly two months due to injury, became a vital part of the Zags’ lineup late in the season, starting 18 games … Hit a walk-off 2-RBI single to complete a comeback against Santa Clara on 5/13 … Went on a 12-game hit streak from 4/29 - 5/26 … Earned WCC Player of the Week honors after batting .625 with an on-base percentage of .750 in the three-game series against San Diego while leading the Bulldogs in hits (5) as they clinched the WCC regular season title and ninth WCC series win of the season.

Prior to Gonzaga: A two-year starter at Fresno State, Johnson appeared in 37 games as a redshirt junior in 2021... made 22 starts with 10 in right field, nine in left field at three in center field ... hit .325 and totaled seven extra-base knocks finishing with three doubles, three triples and a home run ... scored 13 runs ... drove in 20 RBI… tied for a team-leading five hit by pitches ... tallied five multi-hit games with a season-high three in a 13-2 season-opening win over CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 26) ... earned Academic All-MW honors ... named Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.
