Biography

HIGH SCHOOL: Multi-sport athlete at Kettle Falls High, capped his high school career by being a Northeast A League first-team pick in football and basketball, earning league MVP honors in the latter...finished second in the Washington State Class A Golf Tournament and was named the league MVP, giving him four Top-10 finishes at State...junior year won the State golf title on the second extra hole and was a first-team Northeast A League selection in football, basketball and golf...finished eighth in the State tournament in golf as a sophomore after placing seventh as a freshman...freshman season was a second-team All-Northeast A League pick in basketball.

JASON AZZARITO[apos]S COLLEGIATE CAREER

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Attended Community Colleges of Spokane...finished tied for 15th in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community College tourney at 158 after winning the Eastern Region medalist honors by 11 strokes...CCS finished fourth in the NWAACC field.

SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Attended Community Colleges of Spokane...finished tied for third in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges tournament, firing a 72-68 for a 36-hole total of 140 in helping the Sasquatch to fourth place in the 12-team field...also named an NWAACC and Eastern Region All-Star...won the Bigfoot Invite and was also team captain and team medalist.

JUNIOR (2008-09): Transferred to Gonzaga University to fill the void left by the transfer of Brandon Crick...played in three fall tournaments with tie for 21st at Georgetown Invitational best finish...season-low round of 71 at Saint Mary[apos]s Invitational...shot 220 at Wyoming Cowboy Classic for best spring outing that included then-season-best round of 72...came back in West Coast Conference Championship to shoot final-round 70 for best score of year while shooting 224 to finish tied for 24th.

Misc.: High school National Honor Society selection and was a two-time All-NWAACC Scholar-Athlete.
