When will the basketball season start? |
The NCAA announced the college basketball season is scheduled to start on Nov 25th. At this time, we do not know the schedule or how many games could be played at home in the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Will fans be able to attend games in McCarthey Athletic Center this season? |
State and regional health guidelines will dictate fan attendance this season and further information will be communicated as we know more. At this point, we are operating under the assumption that fans will not be allowed, or limited at best, for home games this year.
If fans are able attend this season, who will be given access? |
All Women’s Basketball season ticket holders will be included in single game ticket sales, if fan attendance is allowed. Given the uncertainty around fan attendance and potential limits to capacity, we cannot guarantee season ticket holders will have access to their regular seats for this season.

What is ZAGS UNITED? |
ZAGS UNITED is a campaign to support Gonzaga Athletics during this difficult time. College athletics have been hit hard by the current COVID-19 pandemic and we are dealing with significant losses in revenue that will negatively impact each of our 18 varsity sports and 330+ student athletes. We are relying on the continued generosity of the Zag community to ensure we remain competitive on a national level. Gifts made through Zags United support all areas of Gonzaga’s Athletics department including scholarships, equipment, academic services, health and wellness, team meals, travel and more.
Is my ZAGS UNITED contribution tax deductible? |
All gifts to the ZAG Annual Fund and Women’s Basketball Annual Fund are 100% tax deductible as allowed by law
Can I pledge my support to the ZAGS UNITED campaign? |
Yes, to make a pledge please contact the Director of Annual Giving, Tracy Garcia, at 509-313-3964. Please reference the ZAGS UNITED deadlines to see when pledge payments are due.
Are there any deadlines for ticket opportunities or the ZAGS UNITED campaign? |
The deadline to receive double Priority Points for ZAGS UNITED contributions is February 1, 2021.
Do I still need to make my annual seat-related contribution to Women’s Basketball? |
We hope that you can contribute whatever you can this season to support the Zags during this difficult time and stay engaged while receiving access to exclusive digital content throughout the year. All Women’s Basketball season ticket holders will retain the opportunity to renew the same seats for the 2021-22 season, regardless of giving level.
If I am unable to give my support to the ZAGS UNITED campaign, will I still have access to renew my Women’s Basketball season tickets for the 2021-22 season? |
Yes, all season ticket holders will retain the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the 2021-22 season, regardless of ability to contribute this year.
Will there be any socials or game day hospitality this season? |
Due to state and local restrictions, we do not anticipate being able to host pre-game and halftime socials in any of our hospitality spaces for home games.
Will Women’s Basketball season ticket holders be able to make a contribution for single game ticket access to Men’s Basketball games? |
At this time, we do not foresee the $250 single game ticket access for Men’s Basketball to be an option this season. We will communicate any ticket opportunities via email and on our website should they become available.
Will I be able to request new seats and/or upgrade my Women’s Basketball season tickets? |
Season ticket seat upgrades and additions have been suspended for the 2020-21 season. Additional information will be available with season ticket renewals for the 2021-22 season
Has there been any announcement regarding the WCC Tournament? |
The conference has not released any information on the plans for this year’s WCC Tournament so there is no action needed at this time regarding access to tickets. Seating at the tournament is based on Priority Points for any tickets purchased through Gonzaga, so giving through ZAGS UNITED, with double priority points, is a great opportunity to boost your points.
If there are no fans allowed at Women’s Basketball games, will there be an opportunity to watch them on TV or live-stream their games? |
Game broadcast information can be found on GoZags.com and will be updated as the schedule is confirmed. Conference games can be streamed on the WCC Network which you can find at www.wccsports.com/watch/.
