Antonio Garcia

Garcia joined the Bulldogs in the Fall of 2022, primarily assisting with hitting as well as infielders and catchers.

As head coach of the Western Nebraska Pioneers over the summer of '22
, Garcia led the squad to an ILB Championship and its second-straight Division Title to go with ILB Coach of the Year honors.

Prior to GU, Garcia spent six years in Lawrence, Kan., at the University of Kansas, playing as a Jayhawk for two seasons before medically retiring. He spent the next two years as an undergraduate assistant coach for KU, staying on staff as a Graduate Assistant while earning an MA in Sports Management. At KU, Garcia worked with catchers, infielders and hitters and also assisted with camps.

The Bay Area native has spent every summer since undergrad coaching, most recently spending the past two summers in Nebraska after two years working with the Trosky organization in Yorba Linda, Calif.
