Gonzaga University Athletics

Riley Campbell will enter his 3^rd year as an assistant coach for Gonzaga. After being a volunteer assistant for two years, Campbell moves into the Graduate Assistant role in 2021. Riley is a Pacific Northwest native, graduating from Tahoma High School in 2014, and Boise State University in 2019.


Campbell brings tremendous experience to Gonzaga. At Boise State he was a part of three NCAA XC Championship qualifying teams, competing at the meet in 2016 and 2018. In 2018, Campbell finished 44^th, missing All-American honors by just four seconds. He also competed at the Mountain West Conference XC Championships from 2015-2018, taking home the team title in both 2016 and 2018. Riley holds personal bests of 8:05.67 (3k), 14:08.79 (5k), and 29:20.06 (10k).
