Prior to Gonzaga
- Clarkson was a 3x State Champion in cross country and 2x State Champion in track (3200) at Belle Foursche High School. He also won the 2023 Dakota Relays 3200 in a PB of 9:07. He has a PB of 15:02 in the 5000M (XC).
Personal
- Plans to major in criminology. Chose Gonzaga "because of the standout athletics, the opportunity to earn a high level education and coach Pat Tyson’s determination to build one of the best distance programs in the nation."
