Gonzaga University Athletics

JUNIOR (2024-25): Flynn played in all 11 of the Zags’ events this season… Was the team’s top finisher five times, including at the WCC Championships… His season scoring average of 72.16 is the third-best rate in program history… Had the team’s two lowest rounds of the season, shooting -6 in the first round of the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic and the third round of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational… Shot at or under par in 16 rounds… Took home third place in a field of 110 at the Falcon Invitational with an impressive -6 performance… Shot a career-best 208 across 54 holes at the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic… Finished the season tied for 14th at the WCC Championships with a seven-under 209, which included carding a team-low 68 (-4) in the final round… Named to the WCC All-Academic Team.

SOPHOMORE (2023-24): Saw action in nine events this season, maintaining an impressive scoring average of 74.28 on the season… Finished the season with seven rounds at or below par… Had the best round on the team this season, finishing -6 with a score of 64 at the final round of the Vanharte Orange County Collegiate… Tied for 15th, with a score of +1 across three rounds of action, at the Vanharte Orange County Collegiate…Went even across three days of competition at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate, including finishing the first round -3 with a total score of 68… Concluded the season by participating in the WCC Championships.

FRESHMAN (2022-23): Flynn competed in 11 tournaments during the 2022-23 season.  At the Ping Cougar Classic,  Flynn scored his best round of the season shooting a 68 and a tournament best for Flynn shooting a  -4 relative to par.  He held an average score of 74.12 for the season.   

PRIOR TO GONZAGA: a two-time IMG Junior World Participant and took medalist honors 13 times in high school. He was named All-League as a freshman and then All-State as a sophomore. His final two seasons were cancelled due to Covid. Flynn helped guide Truckee to the 2019 3A Nevada High School Team Championship.

In 2020, Flynn took medalist honors at the JTNC event at Cypress Lakes Golf Course. He placed fifth at the Nevada State Junior Amateur. In 2021, Flynn was a US Open Sectional Participant and was ninth at the Northern California Open. He was also 11^th at the Hogan Cup and 30^th at the California State Fair. He has won 18 events on the Truckee Tahoe Junior Golf Tour. Flynn also holds the Truckee High School basketball scoring and assist record, and boasts a 3.8 grade point average.
