Heringer has committed to GU and comes from North Idaho College.
"Gonzaga was the first school I looked at," Heringer said. "I really enjoyed the location, size of the school, and its strong soccer program and academics."
Heringer has some collegiate experience already his belt, playing at the North Idaho College in the NWAC. Originally from South Salem, Ore., Heringer has club experience at Shattuck St. Mary's, Portland Timbers Academy and Portland Timbers U23s (USL 2).
He also has been an Oregon State Club Champion, selected to the Oregon ODP Team in 2014-2017 and in 2019-2020. Heringer is a member of the Region IV Regional Team in 2017 and named to the 1st Team All-Central Valley League.
At GU, Heringer will be pursuing a finance degree and hopes to be a general manager of a professional sports team one day.
