FRESHMAN (2007-08): Did not compete in cross country so was considered a redshirt...turned out for track team in spring and competed in three meets running 800m...season-best 2:42.9h at Duane Hartman Invitational hosted by Community Colleges of Spokane.
FRESHMAN (2008-09): Ran in one cross country meet, running 23:34.9 for 5K at EWU Invitational...opened track season running 1500m in 6:13.09 at Buc Scoring Invitational at Whitworth University...ran 800m in four meets with season-best 2:37.53 to finish seventh at Al Manuel Invitational at University of Montana.
Misc.: 3.7 high school GPA...National Honor Society...Gold Community Service Award...Outstanding Achievement Award presented by Masonic Education Committee...uncles, Steve Caputo (University of Montana) and Mark Caputo (University of Washington) played football...cousin Michele Caputo played soccer at the University of Puget Sound.
