Gonzaga University (Cross Country)- 3 year varsity letter winner in cross country…competed at the WCC XC Championships 3 times and the NCAA XC West Regional meet once…had his best conference placing as a junior in 2011 placing 35^th…as a senior was part of the 2012 conference team which was the first Tyson-Era Zags team to place 3^rd at the WCC XC Championships; the Bulldogs scored 103 points to edge the University of San Francisco who was 4^th with 105 points at Fernhill Park in Portland, OR; placed 3^rd behind the University of Portland and BYU who both would end up placing in the top 12 as teams at the NCAA XC Championships later that month…ran his 8k XC PR of 25:06 at the 2012 Bill Dellinger Invitational at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, OR

Gonzaga University (Track)- Graduated in 2014 as the #2 3000 meter steeplechaser in Gonzaga school history with a mark of 9:04.96…had a breakout track season as a 5^th year senior where he PRed in the indoor 3000 and 5000 and the outdoor 3000 meter steeplechase and 5000… in 2014 he ran his 5000 indoor PR of 14:57.36 at the UW Invitational and followed it up two weeks later with his indoor 3000 PR at the UW Husky Classic running 8:27.48…although he primarily focused on the steeplechase outdoors he opened up the season running a 5000 meter PR of 14:49.37 at the Dusty Lane Open in a controlled effort…for the rest of the season he exclusively ran steeplechases beginning with a 2k steeple at the Oregon Preview in Eugene, OR where he ran 5:51.18 and eventually running his PR and the #2 fastest 3000 steeple of 9:04.96 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival…as a freshman also helped set the old outdoor 4x800 meter school record at the 2010 Duane Hartman Invitational

High School- Attended Grand Rapids High, earning five letters in both cross country and track...two-time conference cross country champion, four-time conference champion in 1600M, twice in the 3200M...three-time Large Class State Qualifier in cross country....senior year advanced to the Large Class State Track Meet in the 3200M after placing second at Sections and winning 1600M...also the 18-and-under State Record holder in the 8K with a time of 26:10….personal bests of 4:30 (1600) and 9:45 (3200)

Personal- Business administration major… 3.79 high school GPA...Poet Laureate of the State of Minnesota.
