Prior to Gonzaga
- Gus grew up and attended Jesuit High School in Portland, OR where he and his team placed 3rd at the Garmin Runninglane National Championship in 2021 as well as 2nd at Nike Cross Nationals 2022.
- He placed 27th nationally at Nike Cross Nationals 2022 and was 3rd at the 2022 Oregon State Cross Country meet and 4th in the 2023 Oregon State 3000m race.
Personal
- In his free time, he loves to cook, draw, bike, and swim. He has two siblings.
