Prior to Gonzaga
- Michael graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, Washington. He was a 3-time state qualifier in cross country and 1-time state qualifier in track. Michael held personal bests of 4:25 for the 1600, 9:33 for the 3200, and 15:49 for the 5K.Â

- Working towards a B.A. of Biology with a Research Concentration... Plans to attend medical school after graduation and become a physician... Chose Gonzaga for the team culture, location, and opportunities to compete.
