Biography
Eastern Washington University- Hamilton placed 8th in the 5,000 and 10th in the 3,000 at the 2013 Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships… finished fifth in the 10,000 at the 2013 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships…personal bests 8:25.96 (3000) and 14:24.52 (5000)
Boise State University- Mountain West Freshman of the Year and second team all-conference... placed 11th at the Mountain West XC Championships (25:36.3; 8K) and 53rd at the NCAA West Championships 10K (30:37)…placed 10th in the 3,000 and 11th in the 5,000 at the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships…personal bests of 4:14.27 (Mile) 3,000, 8:26.45 (3000) and 14:34.98 (5000).
High School- Graduated from North Central High School in Spokane, WA…placed 2nd at the 3A WIAA XC Championships in 2010 in a time of 15:20…placed 2nd at the NXN Regional meet to qualify his team to NXN in Portland, OR…helped lead his team to a 6th place finish at Nike Cross Nationals after placing 13th as an individual….placed 4th in both the 1600 and 3200 meters at the 2011 3A WIAA State Track Championships…personal bests of 4:15 (1600) and 8:58 (3200)
Personal- A current graduate student enrolled in the Organizational Leadership program…chose Gonzaga: because growing up in Spokane I always had a soft spot for Gonzaga, when the opportunity came about for me to run under Spokane legend, Pat Tyson, it became an easy decision. I am very proud to represent my hometown for my final year of eligibility wearing Gonzaga on my chest…secret addiction: coffee…nickname: Vince or Vinny
