Biography
2022-23 (Senior): Appeared in 6 out of 9 events throughout the season… She helped lead the Bulldogs to a 4th place finish at the Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona Arizona with an 18th place finish at +6… Her best rounds came on three separate occasions with 72’s twice in the last two rounds at the Red Rocks Invitational, and once in the second round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic… Her average this season was a 78.48 with a +7 relative to par in 7 events in 21 rounds.
2021-22 (Junior): Nguyen appeared in seven events, with one of her best scores of the season assisting her team to first place at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic in Springville, UT. Nguyen’s best overall performance this past season 2021-22 was in Phoenix, Arizona at the GCU Spring Invitational coming in at +19 out of three rounds. Originally from Renton, Washington, Nguyen has proven her skill at a collegiate level having a current career average of 79.07.
2020-21 (Sophomore): Appeared in two tournaments for a total of five rounds … Had a 78.00 stroke average on the year.
2019-20 (Freshman): Played in all six tournaments, 18 rounds...Had a stroke average of 76.72 and posted two rounds of par or better...Finished inside the top 20 twice during the year, including a T3 finish at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational, helping GU to the tournament title...FInished in a tie for 20th at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational one week later, also helping the squad to a tournament win.
High School: Placed third in the 4A WIAA State Championship and was the NPSL Tournament medalist in 2017...In 2018, she helped Kennedy Catholic to the NPSL title, placed second in the league tournament and was named the NPSL Cascade Division MVP... Five-time district title holder, a top-three finisher in the state three times, a three-time IMG Academy Jr. World qualifier and a three-time GJAC team member.
