2022-23: Rowing with the Varsity 8 team in her senior season at Gonzaga, was named the WCC Rower of the Year, along with being named to the All-WCC First Team… Earned first-place finishes at the Head of the Spokane, against Oklahoma, at the Triton Invitational, and at the WCC Championship… Also picked up a pair of second-place finishes this season, including at the Head of the Lake, ending with a time of 18:11.208, and against Washington State University, concluding with a time of 6:36.26… Earned third at the Oregon State Invitational, with a time of 6:56.41, and fourth at the Dexter Lake Invitational, with a time of 7:06.6… Performed in all three heats at the NCAA Championships, and helped lead the Varsity 8 team to three straight top-five finishes, including finishing first in the final heat, ending with a time of 6:42.849…
2021-2022 (Fall): Raced in Varsity 8 that finished 4th of 10 in Collegiate 8+ at the Head of the Oklahoma ... Won the Collegiate 4+ out of 22 entries at the Head of the Oklahoma, defeating top boats from Alabama, Oklahoma, Tulsa, and Kansas ... In V8 that took 3rd of 12 at the Head of the Spokane, behind OSU & WSU 1v8 ... Won the 2-s race out of 14 crews from WSU, OSU, GU at the Head of the Spokane ... Rowed in GU’s 1v in Championship 8+ at the Head of the Lake, taking 3rd overall, losing only to the University of Washington (Spring): Consistently rowed in the No.7 position for the Varsity 8 team, including in the back-to-back first-place finishes at the PLU Invitational… Also helped Gonzaga finish first in the Varsity 8 team race against Minnesota, ending with a time of 6:50.45… Performed in both days of competition at the San Diego Crew Classic, where Dojan aided in two second-place finishes with the Varsity 8 team…Part of the crew that swept the WCC Championships and went on to compete at the NCAA Championships...Named CRCA Scholar Athlete
2020-2021: In V8 that defeated WCC rival LMU in first spring competition ... Part of V8 boat that swept all 3 races at GU Invitational against U. Portland, Seattle U and Pacific Lutheran ... 2019-20: Rowed with the varsity eight in both time trials in the fall…helped the Zags to a 17:39.9 time-trial finish at the Head of the Spokane on Oct. 19…in the 4,000-meter time trial against Washington State and Oregon State on Nov. 2, led the Bulldogs to a 14:39.0 finish…spring season shortened due to COVID-19.
High School: Attended Skyview High School in Vancouver, Wash…rowed for two years…graduated with a 3.85 GPA with an AA degree through the Running Start program…National Honors Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Fred and Rhonda Dojan…has two brothers, Carter and Luke…went to nationals twice for rowing while attending Skyview High School...majoring in civil engineering…wants to be a civil engineer…chose Gonzaga because everyone is very nice, the school has a great feel to it and she could see herself really learning at Gonzaga.
