Won the Collegiate 4+ out of 22 entries at the Head of the Oklahoma, defeating top boats from Alabama, Oklahoma, Tulsa, and Kansas ... In V8 that took 3rd of 12 at the Head of the Spokane, behind OSU & WSU 1v8 ... Took 1st of 10 in the 4+s flight at the Head of the Spokane, defeating crews from OSU, WSU, and LMU ... Rowed in GU’s 1v in Championship 8+ at the Head of the Lake, taking 3rd overall, losing only to the University of Washington (Spring): Rowed consistently with the Varsity 8 team throughout the season, including the first-place finish against Minnesota… At the PLU Invitational, Chalfant assisted the Varsity 8 team in back-to-back first-place finishes with time of 6:43.5 and 7:06.5… Also helped the Varsity 8 team finish second in both days of the San Diego Crew Classic event…Part of the crew that swept the WCC Championships and went on to compete at the NCAA Championships
