2022-23: Opened her senior season rowing with the Fourth Varsity 8 team, where she placed first at the PLU Invitational, with a time of 7:13.04, and second at the Oregon State Invitational, concluding with a time of 7:58.02… Also earned a second-place finish against Washington State with the Third Varsity 8 team… Concluded the season earning fifth at the Dexter Lake Invitational with the Third Varsity 4 team, with a time of 8:52.10, and second at the Windermere Cup with the Third Varsity 8 team, with a time of 7:23.293…

2021-2022 (Fall): In 2v8 that defeated Oregon State 2v8 and LMU V8 at the Head of the Spokane and lost to WSU 2v8 by just 1 second ... Rowed in the 4+s flight at the Head of the Spokane, defeating crews from OSU and WSU ... Rowed in GU’s 2v in Championship 8+ at the Head of the Lake, losing only to the University of Washington and the Gonzaga 1v but beating all other team’s varsity 8+s (Spring): Assisted in multiple top-four finishes after she was moved to the bow position of the Second Varsity 4 position, including finishes in first and second at the PLU Invitational… Participating with the Third Varsity 8 team at Washington State University, helped the team finish second with a time of 7:24.40…

2020-2021: Part of 2v8 boat that swept all 3 races at GU Invitational against U. Portland, Seattle U and Pacific Lutheran ... In 2v8 that took 2nd at the 2021 WCC Championships ... Part of Conference Squad that won the program’s 19th WCC Championship  ... Finished top 20 at the 2021 NCAA National Championships ... Named to Gonzaga Presidents List

2019-20: Rowed with the novice eight (A) crew at the Head of the Spokane on Oct. 19…helped the Bulldogs to a 21:33.3 time-trial finish in her debut race…spring season shortened due to COVID-19.

High School: Graduated from St. Francis Catholic High School in the spring of 2019…competed in both water polo and swimming in high school…scored 23 goals in her final two varsity seasons…named All-Section in 2019…finished her high school career with a 4.0 GPA and earned three-straight Academic All-American honors (2017-19).
 
Personal: Daughter of Darcie Jean and Gregory Garcia…has one sister, Meredith…majoring in nursing with plans to become and ICU nurse…is a skier and enjoys backpacking… Earned All-American honors for water polo while attending St. Francis High School… Graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA…chose Gonzaga because “of nursing, but was also drawn to the surrounding nature and location of campus.”
