2018-2019 (Senior): ITA Scholar Athlete. Singles: Finished the season 16-11 overall with a 6-2 record in West Coast Conference play…started the season off with two victories at the Bulldog Invite…advanced to the round of 64 at the ITA Northwest Regionals before falling 4-6, 6-4, 6-7 to Niluka Madurawe of Stanford…placed second in the Gonzaga Invitational after going 3-0 on the weekend…ranked 79th overall at the beginning of the spring season in the Oracle/ITA National Rankings…started off the WCC slate with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Jamie Schroer of Santa Clara…closed out the WCC season with four straight victories. Doubles: 16-12 on the year, with a 5-3 record in WCC play…teamed up mostly with Sara Komer…went 3-0 at the Bulldog Invite along with her partner Katie Day…finished off WCC play with four consecutive wins with Komer.
2017-18: Singles (Junior): Finished the 2017-18 season with a 20-9 overall record including a 12-6 duals mark and a 3-4 record in WCC play…opened the season with a consolation finals title in the Bulldog Invite, defeating Portland State’s Eszter Zador 6-1, 7-5 for the win…picked up two singles wins and advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Northwest Regionals…opened the spring slate with seven-straight wins, winning in two sets in all but one match…defeated Janet Koch of then-No. 20 Kansas 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7) for Gonzaga’s lone win of the match…finished WCC play with a 3-4 record. Doubles: Finished doubles play with a 10-9 overall record including a 3-6 mark in dual play…competed most often at No. 2 doubles with partner Kate Ketels…advanced to the finals of the Bulldog Invite before falling to fellow Zags Nevada Apollo and Ashleigh Jacobs…picked up two doubles wins and advanced to the round of 32 of the ITA Northwest Regionals…tied for second in doubles play at the Gonzaga Invite after a perfect 3-0 weekend…helped Gonzaga seal the doubles point in the Zags 4-2 win over Brown with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles…posted a 6-2 win over Seattle’s Hannah Gianan and Kyra Jung in the Bulldogs 5-0 win over Seattle.
2016-17 (Sophomore): All-WCC Honorable Mention -- Doubles. Singles: 17-6 overall in singles play, 14-2 in duals...won bracket at Bulldog Invite with three two-set wins Nov. 4-6...opened dual season with 13-match win streak from Feb. 10 to April 21...on Feb. 17, won key match against Idaho's Shion Watabe to allow Zags to rally for 4-3 win...also downed Fresno State's Georgia Lawson in three sets March 16...6-1 in WCC play...led one match left unfinished, tied in another...downed Saint Mary's Emma Critser 6-3, 6-1 April 14...beat BYU's Alana Bourgeois 6-1, 6-0 April 28 in WCC Championships semifinals. Doubles: 12-13 overall in doubles play, 5-11 in duals...reached bracket final at SMU Invite Oct. 7-9 with Kate Ketels, Bulldog Invite Nov. 4-6 with Nevada Apollo...perfect 3-0 at Gonzaga Invitational Nov. 11-13 with Apollo and Haruna Tsuruta...two wins in 24 hours Feb. 10-11 versus EWU and Seattle U...won first two matches at No. 1 doubles versus Montana and Utah State with Apollo, earning WCC Doubles Pair of the Week...downed Fresno State's Lawson/Wilson 6-1 March 16...with Apollo, played No. 1 doubles all conference season, leading two matches when left unfinished.
2015-16 (Freshman): Set program record with 25 singles wins. Singles: 25-6 overall record, 16-3 in dual play at No. 6 singles...reached Red Flight final at Bulldog Invitational Nov. 6-8 with three consecutive wins...won 13 consecutive dual matches from Jan. 29 to April 8 and went unbeaten in 15 straight (through April 16)...win streak began with nine consecutive two-setters...undefeated in dual matches at home (10-0, one unfinished)...7-1 in WCC play with one match remaining unfinished...erased one-set deficits against Sophia Chow of San Diego and Anneroos Nederstigt of Pacific...also beat players from BYU, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Loyola Marymount, and Portland...WCC Singles Player of the Week April 26 after record-breaking 25th victory against Portland. Doubles: 20-9 overall, 12-5 in dual play, all at No. 3 doubles...with Sissi Koehler, reached doubles final of Bulldog Invitational Nov. 6-8....won four of first five dual matches of the year, including 6-0 sweep of Seattle U's team of Kwee and James...6-3 in WCC action, including four straight wins...posted 6-1 win over No. 9 Pepperdine's Wierda/Eneridis to help clinch doubles point April 9.
High School: Played tennis all four years at Saginaw High School in Fort Worth…won Texas 5A state individual title in 2015…finished second in Texas 5A state tournament in 2014 third in 2013…three-time regional and district champion…named Team MVP and awarded Rough Rider Award.
Other Experience: Competed in numerous USTA tournaments, making back-to-back finals appearances in the Alamo City Super Championship and Arlington Tennis Center Super Championship in 2014.
Personal: Parents are Elaine and Denny…has two siblings: sister Gabrielle and brother Gage…majoring in sports medicine with a goal to be a trainer for professional athletes…chose Gonzaga because “the school is very beautiful, and I fell in love with the tennis program, coaches, and the girls.
