Prior to Gonzaga
The two-time Rancho Cucamonga captain began her high school career as an All-Baseline League Honorable Mention in her freshman season before earning a Second Team All-Baseline League honor her sophomore year. Then in her junior season, Zaldivar was named to the First Team and was the Baseline League's Most Valuable Player. During that season, the Cougars went a perfect 10-0 in league play to earn the Baseline League Title.
