- Appeared in 20 games with two starts on the season... went 1-1 with a 6.61 ERA and 34 strikeouts over 31.1 innings pitched... finished second on the team with three saves, including a three-inning save at No. 6 Vanderbilt on Feb. 25 where he allowed just one run on three hits and struck out two.

Prior to Gonzaga
- While at Corona del Sol High School, Sotelo was a four-year varsity starter, earning Tempe All-City and First Team All-Region. Sotelo played at Yavapai College in 2020-21 before transferring to Phoenix College for 2021-2023. While at Phoenix College, Sotelo recorded 99 strikeouts over 93 IP the last two seasons.

Personal
- Majoring in Sport Management, Sotelo says he chose Gonzaga "for its excellent baseball reputation and winning culture they’ve built around the program."
