MORAGA, Calif. - The doubles team of Jamie Buterbaugh and Sirrah Williams advanced to the quarterfinals of the Saint Mary's ITA Tournament in Moraga before being knocked out of the competition by a combined team from California and Fresno State. Gonzaga's other doubles team of Aaryn Volkmann and Leigh Orne advanced to the round of 16 after their first round opponent withdrew from the event. Volkmann and Orne then lost their next match to a team from UC Davis.

Gonzaga's three singles entrants into the tournament were all handed first round losses. Leigh Orne was able to win her first consolation match with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Caysea Dawson of San Francisco. Orne was winning her second consolation match over Ashley Lehman of UC Davis before she withdrew due to injury. Orne was winning the match 7-6, 5-0 when the injury happened.
