SAN DIEGO - San Diego (19-4, 4-1 WCC) connected for a .345 team attack percentage on Saturday night as the host Toreros made a statement with a convincing three game win over Gonzaga (4-15, 2-4 WCC). USD won the contest 30-19, 30-18 and 30-17.
Devon Forster and Noel Frohman led the balanced Torero attack which hit over .285 in each game with over 17 kills in each game. Gonzaga finished with a .027 attack percentage and did not reach double-digit kills in any of the three games.
Forster led all players with 18 kills and 13 digs while Frohman added 13 kills. Christina Davis was the only Gonzaga player to reach double-digit kills as she finished with a team-high 10. Heather Signor was the Zags top defensive player with 13 digs.
Gonzaga's Abby Cullen did finish with four total blocks and her two block assists moved her into ninth place on the Gonzaga career chart.
The Bulldogs return home to Spokane for a Tuesday match at nationally ranked Eastern Washington and a Saturday home match against WCC rival Portland.
