STUART, Fla. - Wednesday's final round of the Treasure Coast WTC Hero's Classic men's golf tournament at The Fox Club was postponed because of high winds and rain.
First-round results were used as the final results for the tournament.
Jimmy Hayes took sixth for the Bulldogs with a 78, joined by Trevor Loe in a five-way tie for seventh.
The Bulldogs shot a 321 to finish third, four strokes behind the University of Evansville. Bethune-Cookman College was the runaway winner with a 307. Oakland University was fourth followed by host St. John's University in fifth.
Stefan Strandlund of BCC was the medalist with a 1-over par 73 at the 6,646 yard, par 72 course. Brian Stuard of Oakland was tied for second with Bethune-Cookman's Thomas Kearney. Carl Corbin (BCC) and Shawn Marshall (Evansville) rounded out the top five in a tie for fourth.
