Men's Tennis Fall In Road Opener

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to the University of San Francisco in a West Coast Conference match played in San Francisco Friday afternoon.

Freshman Scott Sullivan led the Bulldogs (5-5) with a win at number five singles, 7-5, 5-7, 11-9. After USF took all three doubles matches, the Zags battled in the singles matches but only had Sullivan come out on the winning end.

Gonzaga continues its bay area road trip with a match against Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif. Saturday and will wrap up the trip at Santa Clara University Sunday.
