PORTLAND, Ore. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team closed out its three-match road trip with an impressive 6-1 win over the University of Northern Colorado at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center in Portland, Ore. Sunday afternoon. Gonzaga went 2-1 over the weekend, beating two solid teams out of the Big Sky Conference in Portland State University and Northern Colorado.

The Bulldogs (5-2, 0-1 WCC) posted their fourth win in the last five matches after winning five singles matches for the second consecutive day. Sophomore Conor Feeney, redshirt-sophomore Zach Peach, freshmen Scott Sullivan, Jake Davis and Tomasz Falkowski each posted victories in their singles matches and the Zags took two of the three doubles matches pick up the non-conference win.

"We set the tone early with some solid play in the doubles matches," said head coach Peter MacDonald. "We juggled our lineup around today and our guys played some very good tennis. Each player played well this weekend."

Next up for the Bulldogs is a home match against the University of Idaho at the Spokane Racquet Club 6 p.m. Friday.
