SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's and women's rowing programs will welcome back their alumni to the Bulldogs' campus as they host their annual Alumni Weekend Oct. 21-23.
The weekend will begin on Friday with an informal social to be held off campus at Jack and Dan's for both the men's and women's alumni.
The alumni will then have a chance to watch the current Bulldogs compete in the Head of the Spokane Saturday. The regatta, which also features Washington State University, will be held at the Gonzaga Boathouse on the Spokane River starting at 9 a.m.
The weekend will continue on Saturday with a social in the Herek Club Room located in the McCarthey Athletic Center. The social will go from 7-9 p.m. Guests are asked to enter the building through the double-glass doors on the southwest side of the McCarthey Athletic Center that face the Patterson Baseball Complex.
The alumni weekend will conclude on Sunday with Class Day Races/Parents Day. Alumni are welcome and encouraged to participate in the racing. The races will begin at 10 a.m. on the Spokane River.
