LAST YEAR AT EWU FALL CLASSIC: Last year at the Eastern Washington University Fall Classic, former Gonzaga University player Gabrielle Verspieren clinched one of the two singles main draw titles with a 2-5, 7-5, 6-1 win. In the other singles main draw, redshirt junior Prue Teitzel and senior Kristina Zauere were scheduled to face each other in the final round but the match did not take place due to rain. Despite not competing for a singles title, Teitzel did compete in a doubles title match with former Zag Rika Mehndiratta, but they fell short 9-7.
