Women's Basketball Now 20th In USA Today Coaches Poll

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's basketball team, which suffered a 62-52 setback at BYU Saturday, fell five spots to No. 20 in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday.

The Bulldogs, 23-4 overall, received 188 points in the USA Today balloting of coaches, 28 votes behind No. 19 University of California and 29 points ahead of No. 21 Purdue University.

The University of Connecticut remained the unanimous choice atop the Coaches Poll.

Gonzaga also is ranked 24th in this week's Associated Press Poll.

The Zags lone contest of the week is set for Saturday, Feb. 22 when it hosts the University of Portland at 2 p.m.
