LAS VEGAS - Sunny Greinacher represented Gonzaga women's basketball on the 2015 West Coast Conference All-Tournament Team, which was released Tuesday.
Greinacher, last season's most outstanding player of the tournament, averaged 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the Zags' two games inside the Orleans Arena this year. She made 46.4 percent of her shots from the field. The senior added eight assists, three steals and two blocks. She made three of her four free-throws.
In the quarterfinal victory over Loyola Marymount, Greinacher tallied 14 points and matched a career-high with six assists. She recorded her fourth double-double of the season against BYU in the semifinals Monday. The Essen, Germany native, scored a team-high 15 points and matched her season-high with 12 rebounds.
Brigham Young beat San Francisco in the tournament championships. The Cougars (23-9) grabbed the WCC's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament with the victory. BYU's Lexi Eaton was named the tournament's most outstanding player. Teammates McKenzi Morrison and Morgan Bailey were also selected to the team. San Francisco's Taj Winston rounded out the team.
Gonzaga (24-7), which won its 11th straight WCC regular season title, awaits its NCAA tournament fate. The selection show is Monday.
