Complete Kitsap Pumas Release

BREMERTON, Wash. - Former WCC Player of the Year Nick Hamer is one of three Kitsap Pumas SC players loaned to Seattle Sounders FC 2 ahead of Thursday's USL match against Real Monarchs SLC, the team announced on their website, www.KitsapSoccerClub.com.

Hamer is joined by Pumas teammates Mike Ramos and Hiroki Kobayashi in making the temporary jump from the USL PDL. Hamer, a midfielder for the Pumas, has helped the team to a 6-0-1 (19 points) division-leading record in the Northwest Division of the Premier Development League.

"Mike, Nick and Hiroki have all worked extremely hard since joining the Kitsap Pumas and I am delighted they will have an opportunity to compete at USL level," said Kitsap Pumas Head Coach Cameron MacDonald. " The Seattle Sounders are a fantastic organization and we are happy to work with them on this matter."

During his time at Gonzaga, Hamer won the WCC Player of the Year award as a senior and amassed five goals and nine assists from his midfield position. The Mead High School (Spokane, Wash.) product was a All-WCC First Team selection twice, All-WCC Second Team selection once and All-WCC Freshman Team honoree in his Bulldog career.

S2 (7-5-2, 23 points) currently sits in fifth place in the USL Western Conference and faces Real Monarchs (1-7-5, 8 points) at Starfire Stadium on Thursday, June 25 (7:30 p.m. PT / live-streamed on SoundersFC.com). The Rave Green then travels to Portland to face Timbers 2 on Monday, June 29 (7:00 p.m. PT / live-streamed on SoundersFC.com) at Merlo Field.
