MORAGA, Calif. -- The Gonzaga women's soccer team dropped their second match of the season, 1-0, at Saint Mary's Sunday.

The Gaels (6-6-0, 2-0-0 West Coast Conference) scored the gamewinner in the third minute and held GU scoreless for the entirety of the game. It was the first time this season that the Zags were shutout.

Saint Mary's Hannah Diaz scored her sixth goal of the season on a free-kick in the third minute. She struck the ball from 23 yards out into the bottom right hand corner of the net.

Both goalkeepers, the Bulldogs' Isabel Jones and SMC's Sonja Rajatalo, made two saves in the match.

The Zags host San Francisco (4-7-2, 0-2-0) Friday at 7 p.m. The Dons fell at home to Loyola Marymount Sunday, 3-0. Live video and stats for Friday's game will be available on GoZags.com.
