SERIES NOTES:
This is the 26th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and San Francisco. The Dons lead the series, 17-8-0. The Dons have won 10 of the 12 all-time meetings in San Francisco, including the latest, 2-1, in 2016. The Zags' two all-time wins at USF have come since 2008. GU won last season's meeting in Spokane, 6-2. The Bulldogs scored six goals in a game for the first time since 2000.
Sophia Viviano scored twice and
Madeline Gotta had a goal and an assist for Gonzaga. There have been no draws in the 25 all-time meetings between the programs. The Dons won the first all-time meeting, 2-1 in overtime, in Spokane on Sept. 17, 1993.

SCOUTING THE DONS:
- San Francisco is unbeaten in its last three contests, including wins in the last two games.
- After opening conference play with a narrow 3-2 loss to nationally-ranked Santa Clara, USF battled to a 1-1 draw with Pepperdine.
- The Dons cruised to a 4-1 win at home over Pacific Sunday. San Francisco is 6-2 at home this season.
- Pacific led 1-0 at halftime, before a four-goal outburst by USF in the second half.
- Ashley Humphrey scored two goals for the Dons, while Miciah Madison and Autumn Smithers both scored a goal and recorded an assist. Madison took a game-high five shots, placing four on goal.
- Molly Eby made three saves in the San Francisco net.
- Samantha Jehnings is third in the West Coast Conference with nine goals. Madison tops the league with nine assists.
- Eby has four shutouts in eight appearances.

- The Zags have won three straight conference games, and are unbeaten in six of their last seven contests.

- The senior defender struck a shot from well outside the box to the upper right hand corner of the net in the win over Saint Mary's.
