Series Notes:
- Gonzaga and San Francisco meet for the 64th time in program history and the 32nd time in Spokane.
- The Bulldogs are 4-0 against the Dons under Diane Nelson.
- Gonzaga has won nine of the last 10 matches against San Francisco and leads the overall series 35-28.
- The series dates back to 1986, and of the first 25 matches, the Bulldogs won 19 of them including a 10-match win streak from 1990-94.
 
SCOUTING SAN FRANCISCO:
- San Francisco was picked to finish last in the WCC this season after finishing the 2017 season 0-18 in conference play. This season, the Dons are off to an 8-8 overall record with a 1-4 mark in WCC play as they picked up an early win against Santa Clara.
- So far this season, the Dons are averaging 12.2 kills per set hitting .193 to go along with 11.3 assists per set. Defensively, San Francisco averages 14.8 digs per set and 2.2 blocks per set while averaging 1.5 serve reception errors per set.
- Four Dons average at least two kills per set, led by Kathya Garcia with 3.02 kills per set hitting at a .210 clip. McKenna Marshall adds 2.83 kills, Emily Zinger 2.28 kills and Kate Ashman 2.06 kills per set.
- San Francisco is led defensively by Ann Dalla Vecchia with 4.12 digs per set while Garcia adds 3.12 digs per set. Zinger adds 0.90 blocks per set.
