SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga volleyball team travels to Southern California for two matches against Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount. Due to recent events and the closure of Pepperdine's campus through the Thanksgiving holiday, Gonzaga's match at Pepperdine has been relocated to UCLA's John Wooden Center and will now begin Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Gonzaga's match at Loyola Marymount on Saturday, Nov. 17 will continue as scheduled.

- Five of Gonzaga's eight wins over Pepperdine have come in the last four seasons, and Gonzaga has won five of the last nine meetings. Three of the last six matches have gone to five sets, while last sweep in the series occurred on Oct. 10, 2015 in Spokane with a 3-0 sweep in favor of Gonzaga.
SCOUTING PEPPERDINE:
- The Waves are 17-8 overall this season with a 10-4 mark in conference play, good for third in the West Coast Conference.
- Through 25 matches, Pepperdine averages 13.55 kills per set hitting .254 to go along with 12.78 assists and 1.62 service aces per set.
- Defensively, the Waves average 14.24 digs and 2.14 blocks per set.
- Three players average at least three kills per set, led by Hannah Frohling with 3.35 kills per set hitting .265. Rachel Ahrens adds 3.29 kills hitting .312 while Shannon Scully adds 3.10 kills per set. Blossom Sato leads the team in assists with 949 for a 10.91 per set average.
- Hana Lishman leads the defensive effort with a team-high 3.82 digs per set while Alli O'Harra adds 1.25 blocks per set.
- The Waves have won four of their last five matches including a five-set win over Hawai'i at home on Nov. 6. Pepperdine carries a 10-5 record in three-set matches, a 6-2 mark in four-set matches and a 1-1 mark in five-set matches.

- Two players average over three kills per set, led by Sara Kovac with 3.73 kills per set; Savannah Slattery adds 3.38 kills per set.
- The Lions are led defensively by Kekai Whitford who averages 4.24 digs per set while Emma Johnson adds 0.72 blocks per set.
- Loyola Marymount has won three of its last four matches, and this season the Lions are 8-5 in three-set matches, 6-1 in four set matches and 4-1 in five-set matches.
TIYANA HALLUMS BECOMES ALL-TIME DIGS LEADER

Tiyana Hallums is now Gonzaga's all-time digs leader. The Honolulu, Hawai'i native broke the previous record of 1,303 that was set by Linda Bushinski (1984-88) with her 24th dig of the match at Santa Clara on Nov. 3. Hallums currently has 1,332 career digs with three matches remaining in the regular season.

In Gonzaga's last match against Saint Mary's, senior middle blocker
Peighton De Von was a near brick wall, registering 12.0 total blocks including five solo blocks. Both marks rank on the all-time single match lists: De Von's 12.0 total blocks ranks tied for ninth all-time while her five solo blocks ranks tied for seventh all-time.
