SERIES NOTES:
Gonzaga and Seattle meet for the ninth time. The Bulldogs snapped a three-game losing streak in the series with a thrilling 2-1 double-overtime win in Spokane last season. Callie Best scored the game-winner in the 102nd minute. The teams have met in each of the last three seasons. Seattle won the first meeting between the programs in 1991. The Bulldogs boast a 10-5-0 all-time record against current WAC members. Gonzaga won its latest matchup against a WAC opponent, beating Grand Canyon 2-1 in double overtime, in this year's season-opener in Spokane. The Zags have won four of their last six meetings against current WAC programs.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS:
- The Redhawks are 2-4-2 overall on the season, coming off of a 5-0 loss against Washington at home.
- Jessie Ray leads the team with four goals, scoring one goal in each of the four games she's played. Three Redhawks follow with two goals each.
- Goalkeeper Ariana Romero has 17 saves on the season, averaging 1.77 per game.
- The Redhawks are a young team with 12-freshmen on the roster, replacing the departure of nine seniors from last season.
- Seattle was voted to take third in the WAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, following last season where they went 9-8-4 overall and finished fourth.
- Defenders Rachel Bowler and Hannah Carrothers were both selected Preseason All-WAC.
- The Redhawks have appeared in five straight WAC Championship games and have won seven total WAC titles since 2013.

- The Zags' Isabel Jones has not allowed a goal in the past two games.
- She has a current streak of 187 minutes without allowing a goal.
- Jones currently has a 0.82 goals against average.
SAMANTHA'S BUSY AFTERNOON:
- Gonzaga's Samantha Heilman scored a goal and recorded an assist in the win at Colorado State.
- Heilman's goal was the first in her collegiate career, while her assist was the fifth of the season.
- The junior leads the team with five assists. That ranks second in the West Coast Conference.
WELL THAT WAS QUICK:
- The Zags' two goals at Colorado State came in the first 13 minutes of the game, with the first coming in the fifth minute.
- At Oregon State this season, India Jencks scored 3:25 into the match, before Sophia Viviano scored in the ninth minute.
