SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga men's soccer wasn't able to keep visiting Saint Mary's out of the net in a 3-0 loss on Saturday night at Luger Field in Spokane, Wash.
Gonzaga (3-10-1, 2-3-0) held the Gaels (14-1-0, 5-0-0) to just one goal over the first 69 minutes, but SMC got two more goals over the following 10 minutes to put the game out of reach.
The Zags created four corner kick opportunities in the match, compared to just three for the Gaels, but SMC held the shot differential 15-3 overall.
GU goalkeeper
Johan Garibay made six saves.
Gonzaga will be back on the field in its final home game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 9, against Santa Clara. GU will honor its seniors in a pregame ceremony. Links to live coverage will be available at GoZags.com.
