SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – The Gonzaga volleyball team fell in three sets (25-16, 25-17, 25-10) at No. 20 San Diego Thursday evening inside the Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego, Calif.
Gonzaga (10-18, 4-12 WCC) was led by sophomore
Kennedy Croft with five kills and 10 digs while
Jenna Kuehn added nine assists and nine digs.
The Zag finished with 22 kills off 21 assists to go along with three service aces, 33 digs and 5.0 blocks.
San Diego (22-5, 15-1 WCC) finished with 42 kills hitting .319 with 43 digs, 40 assists and 3.0 blocks. Thana Fayad led the Toreros with 12 kills hitting .429.
Gonzaga returns to the floor Saturday, Nov. 23 at No. 13 BYU at 12 p.m. PT.
