The Tournament
- Admission to the Gonzaga Invitational is free and open to the public.
- GU will host Seattle U, Montana, Montana State, Idaho, Portland and Northern Colorado.
- Action begins at 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. on Sunday at Gonzaga.
- GU will also send a group to the Gopher Invitational at the University of Minnesota with play beginning at 7 a.m. PT on Friday and 6 a.m. PT on Saturday and Sunday.
- The Zags at the Gopher Invite will take on Minnesota (host), Illinois, Denver, DePaul, Drake, Marquette, Wichita State, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Wisconsin.
Last Time Out
- Gonzaga sent a group of four to the Easley Memorial Invitational in Las Vegas at UNLV.
- Senior Vincent Rettke received a first round bye and then won his quarterfinal match in comeback fashion to advance to the semifinal of Flight One.
- Rettke teamed with freshman Matthew Hollingworth to advance to the semifinals of the doubles as well.
ITA All-American Championships Recap
- Gonzaga traveled to Tulsa, Okla., for the ITA All-American Championships.
- Sam Feit had a solid performance at the tournament, making it to the third round of the Qualifying Draw with two opening round wins.
- He defeated UCLA's Drew Baird and Tulane's Hamish Stewart.
The Squad
- GU returns seven from its record-breaking team last season that finished a program-best second in the West Coast Conference and racked up a record 16 wins during the season.
- The veteran core includes a group of seniors in Sam Feit, Kyle Everly, Vincent Rettke, Simon Homedes Dualde and Bryan Husin.
- Gonzaga also added its best recruiting class in program history: ranked No. 24 in the nation and No. 3 among mid-majors.
- The recruiting class includes the No. 15 overall recruit in Eric Hadigian out of Sacramento, Calif., and No. 35 overall recruit Oliver Andersson, a native of Sweden. No. 115 overall Brandon Park out of Bakersfield, Calif., and Matthew Hollingworth from Great Britain round out the class.
- GU also added Kentucky transfer Theo McDonald in the offseason.
A Look Back at '18-19
- Last season, the Zags ended the year ranked No. 75 with a 16-8 overall record and were second in the West Coast Conference with a 7-2 mark, both program records.
- During the course of the season, GU defeated its highest-ranked opponent ever in then-No. 31 BYU, defeated Pepperdine and Portland for the first time ever and collected its first conference road win in the program.
