THE TIP OFF:

- The Bulldogs are coming off of a 93-72 win over Detroit Mercy on Monday. GU closed its non-conference slate shooting 73 percent from the field in the first half of the victory. Filip Petrusev scored a team-high 22 points and Ryan Woolridge had a season-high 21 points.

SCOUTING THE PILOTS:
- Portland dropped its fourth straight game, falling to Ball State in the seventh-place game of the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu, 61-46. Tahirou Diabate led the Pilots with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
- Isaiah White is averaging a team-high 13.3 points per game, while Jojo Walker is chipping in 10.2 points per outing.
- Chase Adams has thrown a team-high 62 assists, and Diabate and Jacob Tryon both average 4.8 rebounds.
- The Pilots opened the season 6-1, and were 8-2 after 10 games.

DOMINANT DECADE:

WOOLRIDGE NAMED WCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
- Gonzaga's Ryan Woolridge was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week Tuesday.
- Woolridge helped No. 1 Gonzaga wrap-up its non-conference schedule with a win over Detroit Mercy. He scored a season-high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field, including 4-of-5 from three-point range.
- It was the senior's 12th career 20-point game, but first with the Zags. He became the sixth Bulldog to score 20 points in a game this season through 15 games. Woolridge added eight assists, six rebounds and two steals.
- Woolridge tops the conference in three-point field goal percentage, making 54.5 percent from behind-the-arc. He is fourth in the league dishing out 4.7 assists per game. His assist-to-turnover ratio is sixth at 2.1.
 
HOT START:
- In the first half versus Detroit Mercy, GU made 73.1 percent of its shots from the field (19-of-26).
- The Zags scored 64 points in their first half win over Eastern Washington.
- The 64 points were the most points scored by Gonzaga dating back to the 2001-02 season.
 
LIFE ON THE ROAD
- Since the 2005-06 season, Gonzaga is 210-65 in road or neutral games. The Zags' 76.3-win percentage in road or neutral games tops the nation over that span.

- The Bulldogs have won 32 straight WCC games on the road, the longest active streak in the country. GU's last loss to a conference opponent on the road was at Saint Mary's, 70-67, on Jan. 21, 2016.
