DUPONT, Wash.
– Gonzaga women's golf signee Cassie Kim continued her fantastic junior career winning the PNW Junior PGA Championship over the weekend in Dupont, Wash.

Kim, who will join the Zags for the Fall 2019 season, fired a final-round 70 (-2) to win the regional title by one shot. She was the only player in the field to go under par in both rounds of the 36-hole championship at the Par-72 Home Course.

A native of Yakima, Wash., Kim earned a berth to the 44th Girls Junior PGA Championship in Hartford, Connecticut, on July 9-12. The 72-hole stroke play championship will be held at the Par-72 Keney Park Golf Course and feature a 144-player field.

Kim's junior career also includes the stroke play title at the 2017 PNGA Jr. Girls Championship and at the 2018 WJGA Eastern Open, as well as a third-place finish at the 2018 AJGA Kyle Stanley.
