SERIES REVIEW
vs. Cal Baptist
This is the first meeting between the two programs.
vs. Nevada
OVERALL: 4-5 | AWAY: 0-2 | HOME: 3-1 | NEUTRAL: 1-2
The Bulldogs are currently on a one-match win streak against the Wolfpack as the Zags won the last meeting 3-0 in Spokane, Wash., on Sept. 2, 2017 as part of the Gonzaga Invitational. The first match between the two programs was on Oct. 2, 1988, a match which the Zags won in five sets. That sparked a three-match win streak to start the series, but a 3-0 loss to Nevada during the 1999 season led to a five-match losing streak from 1999-2016. The Zags broke that streak with a sweep in 2017.
vs. Southern Utah
OVERALL: 2-0 | NEUTRAL: 2-0
This weekend will be the second time in program history the Zags have faced SUU in Reno, Nev. The Bulldogs defeated the Thunderbirds in five sets during their last trip to Reno in 2016. GU opened the series with a 3-0 sweep over SUU at the Grand Canyon Invite in Phoenix in 2015.
