SEATTLE – Gonzaga's women's and men's track completed their 2020 indoor schedule at the Husky Classic inside the Dempsey Center Saturday.
Ally Legard ran the third-fastest indoor mile in women's program history. She climbed from sixth to third with a time of 5:00.45. Legard placed sixth in her heat.
Paxton Depoe crossed the line at 5:03.42, which ranks sixth on the GU all-time list.
Claire Gillett had a 5:26.52 finish.
In the women's 800 meters,
Morgan Greene rose from fourth to third on the program's all-time list. She placed 10
th in her heat at 2:17.24.
Evan Bates won his heat of the men's mile, with the seventh-best finish in GU history at 4:10.78.
Ben Hogan was close behind in third in the heat at 4:12.34.
The Zags begin their outdoor slate at the Sam Adams Invitational hosted by Whitworth University in Spokane on March 19-20.
