Oliver Andersson all competed to move on day one.
In the first round, Trkulja took on Mate Voros of Sacramento State and won, 6-2, 6-2. de la Bassetiere also won his first round match, beating Seattle's Aryan Chaudhary, 6-4, 6-3, to move onto the round of 16. Andersson and Hollingworth both fell in round one, with Hollingworth falling to Sema Pankin of Portland, 6-4, 7-5. Andersson battled hard but lost to Ewen Lumsden of Washington 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.
In the round of 16, de la Bassetiere continued to roll, taking down Eleftherios Neos of Portland, 7-6(3), 6-3, and will be taking on Yuta Kikuchi of University of California in the quarterfinals tomorrow. Trkulja battled but fell to the second seed in the tournament Clement Chidekh of Washington, 6-1, 6-2.
Arthus de la Bassetiere will play Saturday starting at 11:30 am for a chance to play in the bracket semifinals.
In doubles, Trkulja and Hollingworth teamed up to defeat Cal, 8-3. The duo takes on UW tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
