UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - The Gonzaga men's golf team finished in 13th place at the Redhawk Invitational, hosted by Seattle at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash. The Bulldogs totaled a 903 (+47) three-round total, following a 306 (+18) total in the third round.

Matthew Ruel led the Zags, finishing in a tie for 50th in the tournament. The senior finished at 11-over 225 (77-72-76) after three rounds. In Tuesday's final round, Ruel and
Brentt Salas tied for the lowest score for the Bulldogs at four-over-par 76. Salas tied for 62nd after three rounds at 14-over 230 (79-75-76).

Charlie Magruder ended the tournament tied for 53rd with a three-round, 12-over-par score of 226 (75-79-75). The senior led the team—and tied for third best in the tournament—in total pars with 36.

Jace Minni both finished tied for 68th with three round totals of 231 (+15).

San Francisco claimed the team title at 14-under (842), while Soren Lind of USF claimed the individual title at five-under-par (209).
