SCOUTING THE GAELS
- SMC is currently 9-6 overall and 3-1 in WCC play. The team is on a two game winning streak with wins over Pepperdine and San Diego. The one conference loss was against Brigham Young, when the Gaels fell 78-36 on the road.
- Saint Mary's is coming off a 79-71 win over San Diego from Thursday night. Ali Bamberger lead the team by scoring 21 points as Madeline Holland secured her second double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
- Bamberger leads the team overall with 15.1 points and 9.3 rebounds a game, which ranks second in the West Coast Conference. She also has a team-high 12 blocks and 12 steals this year.Â
- SMC and Gonzaga had two common foes in the non-conference slate as Saint Mary's defeated UC Davis 52-50 and fell to Utah, 92-50.
- The Gaels averaged 65.8 points and 39.3 rebounds a game this season.
