SPOKANE, Wash.  - The Gonzaga men's tennis team wrapped up their opening weekend 3-0 as they took down Montana State 4-0. Montana State fought hard, but the Zags were able to close out the match late in the singles round. 
 
In the doubles sets, Tom Hann and Arthus de la Bassetiere took the first match over Brad Buckland and Jamieson Nathan 6-2 in the number three spot. That win was followed by Leon Roider and Oliver Andersson taking down Marcos Zelver and Manuel Monteiro in the two spot, also by the score of 6-2, to take the first point of the day. 
 
In the singles matches, Matthew Hollingworth took down Daan Van Dijk, 6-2, 6-1 in the second spot. That win was quickly followed by Hann, who defeated Joaquin Espinoza in the five spot, 6-4, 6-3. Hann's win was immediately followed by the clinching win by Sasha Trkulja in the one spot, 7-6[0], 6-3, over Matej Panik. 
 
The rest of the matches went unfinished once the Bulldogs clinched the win.
