SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men's soccer team opened West Coast Conference competition tonight and fell just short of the University of San Diego, 1-0.

Gonzaga's goalkeeper
Johan Garibay made two critical saves in the opening half during the second minute and 11th minute.
Frankie Ljucovic recorded a shot on goal in the 31st minute but USD's goalkeeper made the save to keep it even at 0-0.
