THE TIP OFF
- The Gonzaga Bulldogs host Santa Clara this Monday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. Pacific Time.
- Gonzaga is coming off a week where the team went 1-1. The Zags defeated Saint Mary's for the second time this season, 85-49, last Thursday night in Spokane. The team then traveled to Provo, Utah, to take on the No. 20/16 BYU and fell 63-39.

Kayleigh Truong is right behind her with 11 ppg.
Melody Kempton is leading the team in boards with 6.5 a game. while averaging 10.7 points a game.
Yvonne Ejim has a team-high 35 blocks and 41 steals as she is averaging 20.2 minutes off the bench.

Cierra Walker is ranked 36th in the country and second in the WCC in three-point field-goal percentage as she has averaged 41.5 percent so far this year.

- From the charity stripe, the Zags are first in the WCC in free throws made (355) and second in free-throw percentage 76.8, which also ranks 16th in the nation.
- Defensively, the Bulldogs are first in the conference in scoring defense with 55.9 points. From beyond the arc, Gonzaga is shooting at 34.6 percent, which is first in the WCC.
- The Zags are averaging 40.8 rebounds a game and a10 rebound margin, which ranks eighth in the nation and first in the WCC.
- In conference games won this year, GU has an average margin of victory 18.6 by points.
- The Bulldogs are 9-3 at home so far this year as as Gonzaga closes out the season in the Kennel with three games this week.

SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
- Santa Clara is currently 14-11 overall and 8-7 in the WCC. SCU is also 3-8 on the road this year.
- The Broncos are coming off a 76-66 win over Portland on Saturday, Feb. 19. The team is on a three game winning streak with their last loss being against Gonzaga on Feb. 10.Â
- SCU is averaging 69.5 points per game this year, third in the West Coast Conference, while shooting 41.3-percent from the field and 33.5-percent from beyond the arc. Defensively, they have allowed 66.3 ppg while forcing 14.9 turnovers per contest.
- Lindsey VanAllen leads the WCC in scoring with 19.6 ppg. Merle Wiehl leads the team with 6.9 rpg, good for fifth in the WCC, and scores 12.4 ppg. Ashley Hiraki is scoring 7.6 ppg with a team-best 3.6 apg and adds 3.6 rpg. Lana Hollingsworth scores 8.5 ppg with 4.3 rpg as well.
- The Broncos are missing Lexie Pritchard who was injured at Long Beach State on November 21. Ashlee Maldonado will miss the season with a torn ACL. Both were projected starters before the season.
- Santa Clara won its first two games by 10-plus points for the first time since 1999-2000 when they beat Oakland 84-66 and Drexel 71-49. The Broncos finished that season 21-9 and went to the WNIT.
